JCL Series Marine Centrifugal Fans

1. Overview

The JCL series marine centrifugal fan (hereinafter referred to as the fan) can convey air, salt-mist-laden marine air, and corrosive air containing oil mist and small amounts of acid vapour from the natural evaporation of batteries. The fan is suitable for ventilation and air renewal of all kinds of ship compartments and for boiler ventilation, and can also be used in other suitable applications.

The JCL fan is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T 11864-2008 Marine Centrifugal Fans and the current Rules for the Construction of Ships.

2. Features

Small dimensions, light weight, low noise, good corrosion resistance, good airtightness, low starting torque, and strong resistance to rolling, vibration and shock.

3. Structure

The JCL fan is of the horizontal, direct motor-driven type and can also be built in a vertical design. The impeller is riveted from aluminium alloy and is statically and dynamically balanced. The casing and inlet are welded from ordinary steel in an airtight construction.
