Marine Mushroom-type Ventilators

1. Scope and Application

Marine mushroom-type ventilators (hereinafter referred to as ventilators) are suitable for installation in natural and mechanical ventilation systems on the open decks of all types of ships.

2. Applicable Standards

The manufacture, testing and acceptance of the ventilators comply with the technical requirements of GB/T 295-2000 Marine Mushroom-type Ventilators.

3. Classification

The types, names and size ranges of the ventilators are given in the table below:

4. Features

All the ventilator types above feature a rational structure, easy opening and closing, an attractive appearance, a complete range of sizes, effective ventilation and reliable weathertight sealing, and meet the wide-ranging requirements of the shipbuilding industry.

5. Designation

A type C ventilator with a nominal diameter of DN = 500 mm is designated as: Ventilator C500 CB/T295-2000.
